I'm using the WorkSite 8.5 client and this does work from the toolbar. There is a Where Filed button on the toolbar. If you highlight a document in the search results window, or even in your Document Worklist, click on the Where Filed button on the toolbar and it will show the location of the document. Pretty cool! I haven't spent a lot of time exploring the new FileSite 8.5 toolbar. I will now!

Got a call from Autonomy iManage this week, it looks like this functionality is available through a where filed option on the toolbar in the new version of FileSite (v8.5).

We haven't got WorkSite 8.5 in our test lab yet so can't confirm. Anyone using 8.5 care to confirm/deny?

That would be an excellent idea. Definitely one for Autonomy to pick up on, either that or an enterprising soul with a good knowledge of the API.

I agree with you that this would be a very good enhancement and am curious as to why it doesn't exist now. It makes perfect sense to want to be able to immediately navigate to the Workspace and folder from the Where Used dialog. I've always wanted to do something similar with .nrl links in emails.
